Edelweiss Youth Hostel is located in the neighborhood of Horta-Guinardó, one of Barcelona's most beautiful areas. The Hostel is totally new and functional, with a 99-guest capacity. There are 16 rooms, 4 of which have balconies with fantastic views of Barcelona. Each space has an independent bunk bed and locker.

The neighborhood is very safe; full of picturesque streets, classic buildings, parks and green zones (some built in the 18th Century). There are still several country houses from that time which have been restored to house institutions, companies or restaurants.

Edelweiss Youth Hostel charge the cost of lodging in advance.

Location:

• The district of Horta-Guinardó is very hilly, which makes it difficult to build roads and houses there. The neighborhood also contains large hospitals such as 'Vall d'Hebron' and 'Hospital de Sant Pau' and one of the headquarters' of Barcelona University called 'Les Heures' which provides postgraduate courses and other studies.

• The Parc Güell is situated on the Carmel hill, which, with La Creueta and the Muntanya Pelada, separates the district of Gràcia from that Horta.
