In Catalunya there are three airports that get international flights: Girona, Reus and Barcelona. Here below we give you details of how to get from/to these airports to Barcelona:

The Airport of Barcelona is El Prat Airport, in the area of El Prat del Llobregat, 12 km outside the city. Most scheduled flights arrive at El Prat Airport, while charter flights arrive at the other two.
In El Prat there are 3 terminals:

• Terminal A: Departures and Arrivals of most international airlines.
• Terminales B: Departures and arrivals of Spanish airlines and some foreign ones.
• Terminal C: Connection Madrid - Barcelona (Puente Aereo) and some general aviation airlines.

Air connections with Madrid are excellent if you take the Pont Aeri: There are more than 40 daily flights both ways and tickets can be bought in machines up to 15 minutes before boarding. The flight takes 50 minutes.

There are bank branch offices situated in terminals A and B, specifically in the public lobbies and within the baggage reclaim areas, where there are also automatic change machines located. The opening times of the bank branch offices are 7:00 to 23:00.

There is a left luggage office in the lobby of terminal B, beside the arrivals area. The current rate for 2008, for all or part of every 24-hour period, is €4.80 euros for the large locker, 50x80x90 cm (width x depth x height); €4.20 for the medium locker, 35x80x60 cm; and €3.70 for the small locker, 35x80x45 cm.

The Barcelona airport has approximately 13,000 parking spaces, 2,300 of which are located in the parking building connected to Terminal C by an airbridge, and 2,600 more are found in the car park located across from Terminal A, which is also connected by an elevated corridor. There are automatic payment machines.

The best way to get from Girona airport to Barcelona is :
Ryanair Buses link Girona-Costa Brava Airport with Barcelona (Estación del Norte, next to the Arco de Triunfo). Journey duration: 1 hour and 10 minutes.

From Barcelona - El Prat Airport to the City Centre:

- BUSES:

AeroBus: Airport - Plaza de Catalunya
This is the most practical and reasonably priced way to get to the airport from the city center and back
Stops: Opposite terminals A, B (Arrivals) and C.
Timetable: Monday to Saturday and public holidays: departures from airport, from 06:00 to 01:00; departures from Plaza de Catalunya, from 05:30 to 00:15. Buses run every 7 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Directbus to Andorra:
Airport - Sants Station (Barcelona) - Sant Julià de Lòria - Andorra la Vella
Stops: At terminal B, opposite the Joan Miró mural.
Timetable: Buses leave the airport daily at 07:45, 10:45, 12:45, 15:15, 17:45, 19:45 and 22:45.

Empresa Plana to Salou and Cambrils
Airport - La Pineda - Salou - Port Aventura - Cambrils
Stops: At Terminal B, in front of the Joan Miró mural.
From Mondays to Fridays, departures from the airport at 9:25, 14:40, 17:55, 20:55 and 22:55; Saturdays, at 9:25, 12:40, 14:40, 18:55 and 22:55; Sundays and public holidays, at 9:25, 12:40, 18:55, 21:25 and 22:55.

Mon-Bus to Tarragona, with stops in Ribes, Sitges, Rocamar, Roquetes, Vilanova, Cubelles, Cunit, Segur, Calafell and El Vendrell
Stops: At the corner of Terminal B, next to the entrance to the technical block.
Timetable: From the airport, from Monday to Friday, a bus leaves every hour between 07:40 and 22:40; on Saturdays, 8:40, 10:40, 13:40, 15:40, 18:40, 20:40, 22:40; Sundays and public holidays, 9:40, 13:40, 17:40, 21:40.

Ràpid Aeroport (Alsa) to Figueres, Girona, Lleida, Reus, Port Aventura and Tarragona.
Stops: Opposite Joan Miró mural, at terminal B.
Journey duration: To Girona, 1 hour 35 minutes; to Figueres, 2 hours 15 minutes; to Tarragona, 1 hour; to Reus, 1 hour and a half, and to Lleida, 2 hours.
Timetable: To Girona and Figueres they leave at 08:00, 13:45 and 21:00. To Tarragona, Port Aventura and Reus, at 08:15, 12:30, 17:00 and 21:30. To Lleida, at 09:30 and 18:30.

Novatel Autocars to Andorra (Bus Station)
Stops: At terminal B, opposite the Joan Miró mural.
Timetable: Buses depart daily from the airport (except 25 December and 1 January) at 10.30, 13.00, 15.00, 17.00 and 19.45 hours.

- CAR: The access road to the airport, the C-31 Barcelona-Castelldefels dual carriageway, connects with the C-32 Barcelona-Sitges. From the city of Barcelona ring roads, we can arrive by the so-called Pata Sur. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes from the airport to Plaza of Espanya. - TRAIN:
The Line 10 suburban Renfe trains links the airport with the city centre and the Sants and França train stations.
Itinerary: Airport - El Prat de Llobregat - Bellvitge - Barcelona Sants - Paseo de Gracia - Estació de França
Journey duration: 32 minutes.
Timetable: From the airport, from 06:00 to 23:44; from Estació de França, from 05:20 to 22:42. Every 30 minutes. Aeroport station falls within the integrated fare system (zone 1) of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area:

- TAXI:
They are are black with yellow doors, with a green light if they are free.
Stops: At terminals A, B and C - Pont Aeri. It takes Aprox. 50 minutes to drive to Placa Catalunya.
Approximate rates on March 2008: The Minimum airport fare (includes supplements for journey) is 15,00 €. On working days, to Plaza Catalunya, it may cost 17-20 € + 1 euro per suitcase; On Saturdays, holidays and at night to Plaza Cataluña, 20-23 € + 1 euro per suitcase. These rates include the airport supplement. The cost payable is as indicated on the meter. Airport supplement: 3,10 €. Suitcase supplement: 1,00 €. Users are advised to request a receipt.
