Popular casual bistro in the former atmospheric Bewleys outlet featuring a small menu of great tasty salads, pizza, pasta and great coffee. erratic service but it doesnt matter - fine spot for a relaxing lunch or casual dinner. Or just have a starter at the bar with a beer. Nice atmosphere.

Situated on a small side street off Temple Bar Square, the Chameleon is one of the few Indonesian restaurants in Dublin. Good rijstafel and other authentic dishes. Interesting choices for vegetarians. Winner of 1996 Taste of Temple Bar Award.

Indoor food market and cafe centre, the Epicurean Food Hall is a good place to stop for a break from shopping, offering a range of eateries from French cafes to Italian pizzas, Japanese sushi, Turkish snack bar and much more. Close to Henry Street and Jervis Street.

Excellent quality in this little upstairs restaurant, one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Wine list has an excellent selection with 150 Italian wines to choose from. You will rarely be turned away by the jovial Bavarian host, even if the restaurant is crammed to the rafters, as it frequently is! Renovated in August 2002.

Great selection of excellent tapas (the best in town) at reasonable prices. Lively, bright decor and good service. Enjoy just a tapa and glass of wine for a tasty lunch, or order two or more for a feast of flavours in a more substantial meal. The peppers and couscous tart is recommended.

Really excellent crispy pizzas (some of the best around) and good pastas cooked in an open kitchen. Great value. Try the lunch special for a real bargain.

Excellent pizza slices (try the potato and rosemary) and great espresso in a friendly atmosphere. There are only a few tables so it is often full. Eat in or take away.

The Commons Cafe at the National Concert Hall offers a quality of food and service to match both the airy, fresh surroundings of the NCH and The Commons Group ethos. Good bistro-style menu for casual dining. Busiest just before and after concerts so if not attending, try the calm period 8pm - 10pm. Deep fried battered fish and chunky chips with mushy peas is well worth a shot!

Michelin starred restaurant overlooking the Grand Canal. Superb cooking by one of Ireland s best chefs, Kevin Thornton, and complemented by impeccably professional service. Good value for money even if it is very expensive as your visit will be an event. Booking essential.
