Tourism is one of Ireland's biggest industries and Dublin is officially Europe's most popular city tourist destination, with an estimated 3 million visitors in 1998. The Irish government tourist authority is called Bórd Fáilte (from the Irish, pronounced "board foil-che", literally meaning "board of welcome"). The main Dublin office is located in the centre of town in a beautifully restored old church, and offers all the services you will need:

    Open 8am to 1pm daily.
  • Baggot Street Bridge
    Open 9.30am to 5.15pm Mon - Fri.
