Grafton Street
Grafton Street, positioned between Trinity College on the north end and St Stephen's Green on the south end, is the upmarket shopping area of Dublin with flagship stores such as Brown Thomas, the department store catering for a myriad of designer showcases, both foreign and local. Dublin's largest and most exclusive jewellers, Weirs, is also here, as well as the most popular of the famous Bewley's Cafes. The street leads to the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre (shown here) and the Powerscourt Townhouse Shopping Centre is nearby. Behind Powerscourt, heading towards Georges Street, is the Castlemarket area, filled with clothes shops, fine food shops and restaurants. The main bookstores are just around the corner on Dawson Street. See in this area: |
