Ballyseede Castle is an impressive building and has a history dating back to the 1590's. Wonderfully transformed into a hotel in 1965, Ballyseede Castle offers 23 ensuire-bedrooms. Three function rooms and beautiful reception rooms and an enchanting formal garden.
In recent years Ballyseede Castle has gained the reputation for fine dining. Whether it is a five course dinner or sitting but the fire in the Library Bar dining is a must. The most delicate food is locally sourced and presented with all the flair expected from a Castle experience.
When it comes to weddings, Ballyseede Castle is in a class of its own. As the only Castle Hotel in the county Ballyseede Castle can offer a unique Castle experience fitting to the particular requirements of any bride and groom. Our professional team of wedding co-ordinators are available to provide you with a wedding of your choice and design.
The thirty acre estate is a perfect base to unwind and discover the South-West of Ireland. Only minutes from Kerry Airport, the national train station and the major arterial road network makes Ballyseede Castle an ideal location for a vaction or a jut relax and unwind in the historic surroundings.
Ballyseede Castle offer you 23 elegant rooms. Some with four poster beds, king size beds and a number of family rooms comprising of two double beds. All Bedrooms are elegant and spacious and come in a large variety from single to mini-suites to deluxe four posters. Room facilities:
Enter the fantastic corridors, known as 'Paddy's Way' where each room is named after famous Irish Paddys. Have a flutter by staying in the Paddy Power room or be enchanted with poetry in the Paddy Kavanagh room. Sing a tune in the Paddy Clancy Room or maybe the art of horse training will rub off in the Paddy Prendergast room. What were once stables for the horses on the estate have been beautifully transformed into luxurious well-appointed rooms.
The upstairs rooms are elegant with high ceilings and the delicate mixture of old world decadence is complimented by modern luxury expected by the discerning traveller. What were once the Lady's boudoirs have been tastefully transformed into charming en-suites.
Ballyseede Castle is located on the on the N21, Tralee to Limerick / Killarney road.
