Local attractions:
The choice is yours with the Ards Peninsula, its breathtaking country side and stately National Trust homes virtually on our door step, a 15 minutes drive to Castle Espie wetland centre on the shores of the stunning Strangford Lough, or the Ulster Folk & Transport museum and the seaside resort of Bangor just 5 minutes from the hotel.  Of course there are many other alternatives, our receptionists would be delighted to advise you.

How to get there: From the M3, follow directions for the A2 to Bangor.  Before Bangor, turn right at the junction signposted Newtownards, Clandeboye Lodge Hotel and Blackwood Golf Centre.  Pass under the low bridge and turn left following the signpost for Clandeboye Lodge and Blackwood Golf Centre. The Clandeboye Lodge is approximately 100 metres on the left hand side. Approximate driving distance from Belfast 10 –15 minutes.
