Softguide Dublin

Ireland and Northern Ireland together constitute thirty two counties, twenty six in the Republic and six in Northern Ireland (part of the United Kingdom). Full maps are available for all regions. Use the town finder to locate towns in Ireland.

For the purposes of this guide the country is divided up into eight regions:
Northern Ireland, Northwest, West,
Shannon, Southwest, Southeast, East and Midlands. With the exception of County Tipperary, which is split between two regions, the counties in each region are as follows:
