There is also an entire section of the Augusto Figueroa street (see I-5 on the maps in the Chueca zone ) devoted almost exclusively to bargain priced designer shoes outlets. Spain has a large shoemaking tradition specially in the Mediterranean coast and Balear Islands. Shoes in Spain are good value as they're not so well known as Italian designs, against which they can compete in quality and style.
