Madrid has a very special and attractive gay scene that during the 90's took hold of one of the most busy neighbourhoods of the center: Chueca. In this neighbourhood there are plenty of bars, cafés, clubs and restaurants run by and targeted to the gay community. However, many of these place remain mixed as the nice atmosphere of the area is open to anyone.
